Welder / Fabricator

We are looking for some who has steel fabrication knowledge and experience. This individual should be someone that can jump right in with little adjusting and can produce a sound quality product to our architectural and structural detailed drawings. Must be proficient at all aspects of a fabrication facility including overhead cranes, hand tools, and above all safety. Must be proficient with shop drawings, accuracy with a tape measure, and can pass an AWS D1.1 or D1.5 weld test.

Ideal candidate has a good personality, is a team player, good work ethic, and has attention to detail. They should communicate well and can follow instructions.

Forklift Operator

Applicant must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, be self-motivated, can work with little supervision, and has the ability to multitask. We need someone who is detail oriented and has previous forklift experience.

Tasks include and are not limited to: moving and handling raw and finished steel products, loading and unloading semis and flatbeds, and keeping the flow of production. This is a job that requires you to work outside in all weather.

The shop operates on a normal schedule of Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm.

Mobile Welder / Erector

A fully stocked mobile welding truck will be provided. Applicant must have a clean driving record for our insurance to cover you. You need to have experience with welding 7018 and 6010 electrode, must be able to read a tape measure accurately, and not have a fear of heights. Please have experience with erecting, installation, and/or construction. You will need to pass a weld test with 7018 with your initial interview or start date. The field crew operates on a normal schedule of Monday through Thursday, Fridays are required overtime if worked.

Certified Weld Inspector / Quality Control

We are in search of a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and Quality Director with at least 7 years of relatable experience in D1.1 Structural Code and/or D1.5 Bridge Welding Code and may have knowledge with AISC standards. We are looking for someone to help us manage our Quality Department and bring some fresh experience to our facility.

Must be knowledgeable and well verse in D1.1 or D1.5 and be willing to help in production welding/ fabrication. We need an individual who understands shop drawings and can articulate information to others. As a CWI you would be writing WPS’s, PQRs, and WPQRS for company use, managing welders and their certifications, and training employees. Your daily tasks would be providing visual inspection on all lay out, fit up, and welding of fabricated items. As Quality Director you would be overseeing quality documentation and representing the company as the AISC representative during our Annual Audit. You would help write and document non-conformance reports and corrective action reports for the company.

We need an individual who can work with limited supervision and has a strong sense of leadership. Someone who can communicate well with all levels of employees and departments to address and solve situations. This individual should have a strong sense of awareness, always have safety in mind, and be organized. We need someone that has a strong understanding of structural application and metallurgy. This is a full-time position that will require overtime as needed with the shops schedule
